FERC Permit Reform Proposal Could Accelerate NatGas Buildout

Right-of-way construction work during the Line 3 Replacement Project in Minnesota. In the U.S., the US$4-billion replacement initiative consisted of replacing 34-inch pipe with new 36-inch pipe for 13 miles in North Dakota, 337 miles in Minnesota, and 14 miles in Wisconsin. Minnesota construction wrapped up in October 2021.
